Welcome to Hillvue Preschool Ministry! We look forward to seeing your preschooler in our ministry area. Please know that your preschooler is a welcomed guest and we hope you and your preschooler have a wonderful first experience. We work hard to create a safe and meaningful class experience. Here are a few things that will help you and your child have a successful first visit!
When to Arrive
Plan a little extra time for getting your preschooler settled with us. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes before your class or worship time to check in your preschooler. In other words, aim for 9:15 or 10:45 on Sundays and 6:15 on Wednesdays. This will ensure that you have plenty of time to check in and resolve any details regarding the care that your preschooler receives.
- 7:45 AM for Sunday: for Babies up to 3 Year Olds
- 9:15 AM on Sunday: for Babies to Kindergarteners
- 10:45 AM on Sunday: for Babies to Kindergarteners
- 6:15 PM on Wednesday: for Babies to Kindergarteners
Where to park
Carrying Babies and getting Preschoolers into a building can sometimes be a challenge! Parking's available everywhere, but the closest parking spaces to the preschool rooms are near the main entrance and in front of the children's building.
Registration
We have a registration process for all of the preschoolers visiting Hillvue in order to ensure their security. Security matters to us! When you first arrive, please go to one of three preschool check-in areas:
Bear & Butterfly Hallway for Babies and Crawlers: Any child between birth and walking age should be checked in here. This desk is just off the old atrium and worship center foyer.
Fish Hallway for Walkers to Younger 2 Year Olds: This is located just off the old atrium and worship center foyer. Children who are between walking age and 29 months old should be checked in here.
Preschool Check in Desk for older preschoolers: This desk is on the first level of the new atrium. Children between the ages of two-and-a-half years and kindergarten age should be checked in here.
Once you get to our check in desk, we will ask you to fill out a brief Registration Form. If you would like, you may print off a registration form here and bring the completed form with you on your first visit!
A member of our Welcome Greeter team will escort your child to your preschooler's classroom. For security, you will receive a pager with a unique number which will also be on your child's nametag. They are matched for your child's security when you pick up your child.
Please make sure all bags/clothing/etc. of your preschooler are clearly labeled. Be sure to inform our Check-In Greeters of any allergies or health concerns.
Enrollment
All first-time guests for either Sunday or Wednesday are asked to fill out a Preschool Registration form at the check-in desk.
Based on ages and developmental stages, your preschooler will be assigned and then escorted to the classrooms. Once we have your completed form, your preschool will be in our check-in system and a nametag and automatic classroom assignment will be done at your next visit, expediting your check-in experience!
